AMA – Association for Sensor and Measurement Technology e.V.
Connecting innovators – AMA has been the leading network for the key industry of sensor and measurement technology since 1981 and is thus a provider of ideas for technical innovations.
With its more than 450 members from industry and science, AMA is the first point of contact. With its detailed industry directory, the association offers an overview of sensors, measuring and testing technologies. In addition, the association supports the innovation dialogue between all those involved in the innovation process at the leading trade fair SENSOR+TEST, at joint stands of important leading trade fairs at home and abroad and at the scientific congress SMSI. AMA also offers technology seminars focusing on topics from the fields of sensors, metrology and microsystems technology.

“The world is magnetic”: Under this slogan, the innovation platform Magnetic Microsystems brings together the interests and potentials of manufacturers, service providers and users as a network. Since its foundation in 2007, 40 companies and research institutions have joined forces at Innomag e.V. to facilitate access to modern technologies and comprehensive solution competences. Magnetic microsystems have considerable economic significance for the entire value chain, from sensors and actuators to modules and diverse applications. To this end, the association would like to promote the applications and dissemination of the technologies in dialogue with science and industry and create the basis for harnessing the innovation potential. ITK relies on microsystems technology in the form of magnetoresistive sensor technology in its products.

The specialists for plastics with magnetic properties are the initiators of a network of experts who create customised solutions using state-of-the-art technologies. One development is 3D effect painting, which was presented for the first time at FAKUMA 2008: Plastic parts are magnetically signed – individually or for serial labelling by means of a magnetic stamp – and painted with a special lacquer.
